KTI Mini SAT- ALERT (with strobe light) -RB3S
When you go bushwalking, boating or driving in the Outback – go prepared. Once activated the KTI mini sat-alert RB3 emergency beacon will transmit an emergency signal for up to four days. This signal will be received by the COSPAS – SARSAT satellite system. Designed and manufactured in Australia, it is Australia’s first microprocessor controlled, pocket size beacon transmitting on both 121.5 and 243MHz international distress frequencies simultaneously. The strobe light can be seen at night for more than 4kms. It is self buoyant and waterproof to a depth greater than 3 metres. Unlike other units, the batteries are replaceable. KTI mini SAT-ALERT is designed to personal EPIRB requirements of AUS/NZS 4330:2000 with approvals from Australian Communications Authority.
