Unregulated solar panels have output voltages that range anywhere from 14-28 volts or higher. Such voltage can damage the charging input of sensitive devices. The 14.5 Voltage Limiter regulates the solar panel fluctuating voltage input by capping the voltage below a max peak on the output in order to safely charge sensitive devices.
